Customers wanting to purchase a bicycle are far better serviced through
a local shop, a shop that is easily reached by bike with staff that can
assist in recommending the perfect model for the customers needs.
Modern bicycles and especially electric bikes need to be serviced
regularly to keep them at tip top performance. The only way this
service can be effectively offered is by a company local to the rider
with staff who understand the bikes.
It is for the above reasons we do not sell directly to the rider.
We are actively seeking professional Independent Bicycle Retailers to
make Wisper bikes available to everyone in the UK. Our policy is to
appoint one Wisper Retailer per town so Wisper customers can expect the
best possible service.
We support our retail customers in the following areas;
-
All sales made from the Wisper web site are sent to the Wisper retailer most local to the purchaser.
-
All enquiries whether made from the Wisper site or otherwise will sent to the Wisper retailer most local to the purchaser.
-
We undertake to hold stocks of all components that are not easily available in the UK.
- If any item is out of stock we will at our cost, express that component into the UK within 7 days.
-
We employ and will continue to employ at least one electric bike
engineer whose main duty is to offer support and advice to retailers
and to arrange the timely and accurate despatch of spares.
-
We will advertise, attend exhibitions and generally market Wisper
bikes in the UK, all enquiries will be sent to local Wisper retailers.
-
As long as sales are at an acceptable level and at least one
demonstration model of each bike in the Wisper range is available from
a Full Service Wisper Centre we will not place another retailer or
Service Centre within 10 miles of another. However in larger cities
there will often be room for more than one retailer. In areas of low
population the distance between retailers would indeed be larger.
Depending on you circumstances there are two types of Wisper retailer;
A
Full Service Wisper Centre and a
Wisper retailer as the names suggest the two would offer differing levels of service.
To become a Full Service Wisper Centre you should be able and willing to offer the following;
-
300 mile SAFETY service with spoke check and adjustment where needed.*
-
Ability to resolve all warranty issues on your premises with free
labour on all repairs under warranty in the first
year.**
-
At least one of each Wisper bike in your premises ready for demonstration and road testing.
-
Full preparation service to enable customers to ride their new Wisper bike away from your premises.
-
Pre delivery inspection on each Wisper bike that leaves your premises.
-
High level of knowledge about the features, advantages and benefits of a Wisper bike.
-
Ability to offer full servicing on Wisper bikes.
* The safety service includes checking and tightening nuts, bolts,
spokes and fixings where necessary but does not include the replacement
of consumables such as brake pads, tyres etc.
**Free labour only applies to Wisper bikes supplied by the Wisper Full
Service Centre from where a customer has purchased the bike. e.g. If a
bike is purchased from ABC Bikes in London only ABC Bikes in London
would offer free labour for warranty issues in the first year. Delivery
to and collection from your customer is not included and is chargeable.
A
Wisper Retailer would be able and willing to offer the following;
1. High level of knowledge about the features, advantages and benefits of a Wisper bike.
2. At least one Wisper Bike from each of the three ranges 900, 800 and 700 for demo purposes.
3. The ability to offer advice on servicing a Wisper bike.
